Mid-century revival in San Antonio
A classic mid-century home in San Antonio, Texas receives a contemporary update by Office of Tangible Space. The family of four had a clear directive: create a home unlike any other, one that would incorporate art and color while honoring the cultural and historical significance of their O'Neil Ford residence. What emerged is an aesthetic narrative that unfolds room by room, each space revealing carefully selected artworks and design pieces that speak to both local heritage and contemporary expression.
We played with layering expressive forms and bold pops of color with the home’s white brick, oak, and terracotta palette, incorporating pieces from some of our favorite contemporary and vintage designers. We also had the opportunity to incorporate the work of talented artists & makers that help to bring the space to life.
