Uprise collector Jennifer knows a thing or two about design. She received her masters from Parsons School of Design in NYC and worked at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA) and several galleries before founding Damsels in Design, a network for women working in various aspects of design. She welcomes us into her colorful and bold abode.
“I’m originally from Los Angeles, but have lived in NYC for the past 6 years. Both cities fit the two sides of my Gemini personality—relaxed and spontaneous versus Type-A and ambitious.”
“A few artists that inspire me are Calder, Rothko, Lichtenstein, Picasso, Malevich, Kelley, and my new favorites thanks to Uprise Art—Ashok Sinha, Jen Wink, and Dolly Faibyshev.”
