Uprise collector Jennifer knows a thing or two about design. She received her masters from Parsons School of Design in NYC and worked at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA) and several galleries before founding Damsels in Design, a network for women working in various aspects of design. She welcomes us into her colorful and bold abode.

My taste varies drastically, but I believe the common denominator is color, composition, and context. How about that for some alliteration?! I’ve worked in numerous galleries and studied decorative arts and design at Parsons [School of Design], so I have a wide range of likes. The pieces I collect are bold, elicit an emotional response, and fit in with the rest of my home.
