About the Artist
Mada Vicassiau (b. 1976) is a French artist based in East London. Drawing on her formal training at the Ecole Nationale Supérieure d’arts de Cergy-Paris, Mada’s work is driven by the exploration of the visual trifecta of color, form, and space. Her practice is influenced by the modernist tradition of minimalism with a focus on the effect of light on perception, as well as the contrast between organic shapes and rigid geometry.
