At its core, my work is an attempt to understand location and place through mapping, memory, and story.

In my work’s current iteration, I use a push and pull of painted planes, documented shapes, and a network of carved lines to form convoluted and futile retellings of simple stories. Through explorations in movement, time, and shape, I aim to present the viewer with a landscape that is both fading and forming.
