Los Angeles-based photographer Jordan Sullivan shares his series Death Valley Light + Mountains with us in his downtown studio.
“I see my landscape pictures as portraits, reflections of my inner-life, or a sort of personal geography of this country inside myself. Photographing nature in this way started in Death Valley. I went to the desert with a simple plan to shoot portraits of landscapes.”
