Visit with Matthew Shelley
Matthew Shelley’s latest works overlay traditional views of landscapes in a non-traditional format. Found photographs accented with ethereal tones are laid upon folded paper, creating a multi-dimensional experience. Evan's works were exhibited alongside works by Luckey Remington and Evan Bellantone at Art on Paper, New York in March 2016.
I always think about the big spaces in these pictures being forced into the small space of a format and composition.
