In the spirit of New Year’s, we’re drawing inspiration for 2017 with a round-up of our favorite projects from the past year.
| Taylor in DUMBO. Anna Beeke’s Sylvania photographs in this DUMBO apartment offer a little woodland respite while highlighting the oak sidebar.
| Beck in Williamsburg. Erin Lynn Welsh’s triptych painting above a baby crib made this project, without a doubt, the best nursery of the year.
| DKLB BKLN. We transformed the ground level of this building with an original installation by Christina Watka, who drew inspiration from ebb and flow of the bustling Brooklyn area.
| Industrial luxe in the West Village. Our friends at Workshop/APD converted a former industrial printing facility into a multi-family home. The floor-to-ceiling windows flood the space with light, and provide a natural backdrop to work by Ryan James MacFarland.
| Angela in Chelsea. This Uprise Art collector integrates her collection with mid-century furnishings and modern finishes.
| Noa in Midtown. It’s no surprise that Noa Santos, co-founder of Homepolish, has impeccable taste. Here’s an inside look at the apartment he shares with his fiancé.
| A modern landmark in Brooklyn Heights. Studio DB recently remodeled this Brooklyn townhouse, just a stone’s throw from Brooklyn Bridge Park. This painting from Ky Anderson on the stairs can be seen from three different floors.
| Felicity House. Felicity House serves as a meeting place designed to address the unique needs of women on the autism spectrum. Keeping with the organization’s mission statement and programs, we curated artwork to complement the quiet and welcoming interiors.
| Elizabeth in Williamsburg. Hidden away on a quiet street in Brooklyn, this writer’s apartment offers a warm retreat. A painting by Aliza Cohen perfectly pairs with the bright and airy space.
| Hospital for Special Surgery. Uprise Art curated artwork for the new Lerner Children’s Pavilion at Hospital for Special Surgery, complete with original commissioned paintings by several Uprise Art artists that utilize the palette and patterns of the Pavilion’s new design.
| West Wing Writers. Sayan Ray’s paintings have titles with literary allusions, a fitting complement to the conference room where writing is discussed and developed.
