Uprise Art and House present On The Periphery, a series of photographs by Sinziana Velicescu. Th e work explores the aesthetic and utilitarian effect of architecture in and around the greater Los Angeles area. Velicescu captures fragmented moments in the cityscape that are most often overlooked by an entire population concerned solely with reaching a destination. Th e result is an homage to ‘ The City’, combined with a hidden desire to escape to another place or perhaps another time.
