“This drawing is part of a new series of work titled "Timed Movement" Throughout the uncertainty and unrest of the past several months, returning to the studio day in and day out became a ritual to experience and represent this time in our lives. With highs and lows, sometimes the days/weeks blending together; other times, distinct events cause a disturbance and in return, a time to reflect. I found that throughout this time, movement was also a large contributor to personal healing and maintaining centered. The compositions reference various forms of movement, either shifting, rotating, dividing, or coming together.” — Katrine Hildebrandt-Hussey
