About the Artist

Melody Tuttle (b. 1985) is a Brooklyn-based figurative painter working primarily in oil on canvas. She received her BFA from the Rhode Island School of Design in 2011. Her paintings explore interiority, intimacy, and the rituals and performances of femininity, often depicting figures in moments of solitude, concealment, and transformation.
