About the Artist
Brooklyn, New York-based artist Colleen Ho creates drawings through a meditative act of mark-making with shapes and textures created from repeatedly applying a needle and thumbtack to her paper surface. Drawing on natural and organic forms, her tactile reliefs are guided by an innate sense of order, balance and inner reflection. Her works rewards close investigation, revealing a delicate topography formed through gesture, line, and intricate contours.
