Molly Dilworth (b. 1975) is an artist, sculptor, and site-specific painter working. Broadly, Dilworth's practice features organic shapes, bright color, and a keen sensitivity to materiality. Her 298 paintings from the series Soft Power were created during research for a public art commission that explored trends in global trade and business, using only digital sources for inspiration imagery, like emailed advertisements, online journals, and photo archives. Her works have been exhibited at the Venice Architecture Biennale and the Philbrook Museum of Art and Sculpture Center, and she has been the recipient of grants and residencies from NYFA, Pollock-Krasner, LMCC Workspace, and Smack-Mellon. Dilworth lives in Queens, NY.
