Karina Bania welcomes us into her studio as she prepares for her exhibition at Art Central Hong Kong.

The confluence between the visible and invisible landscape is central to Karina's work. Working in two distinct styles, she employs varying speeds and levels of rendering in the creation of her paintings.

Karina's representative still life's catalog objects from the every day, while her abstracted landscapes offer insight into a more emotional and subjective response to her surroundings.

Throughout our days we come upon moments that seem to live outside of time. In my work, I aim to capture the stillness that exists between objects. These scenes hold an intrinsic beauty that is timeless.
