We visit John Platt’s Brooklyn studio to talk composition and how color schemes create atmosphere and bring life to his abstract paintings.
Last year was the first time I tried the stripe format and for this later iteration I wanted to go deeper. The color schemes are more about soft and subtle harmonies creating an overall effect on the viewer’s eye.
