Michael E. Northrup (b. 1948) is a Maryland-based photographer. He holds an MFA from Chicago Arts Institute and is the recipient of both the Polaroid Grant and Maryland Arts Council Grant. His works have been exhibited in solo and group shows across the US and he has photographs in numerous collections including Nikon, Scientific American, Polaroid, Chicago Arts Institute, and the Virginia Museum of Art. His artbook Beautiful Ecstasy was published by J&L Books in 2003. His second artbook Babe was released in Fall 2012.
