Matthew shelley

Matthew Shelley (b. 1983) creates collage works using landscape to look at material and spatial issues. Shelley has exhibited widely throughout the US and internationally and his work has been featured in several publications, including Studio Visit and Great Ode. His work is included in international and regional collections at the Nes Residency Program in Iceland and the Katzen Art Museum in Washington, DC. Recent shows include “Altered Terrain” in Brooklyn and “A-Frame” in Washington, DC.

Shelley did his undergraduate work at the University of Oregon. He received his MFA from American University in Washington, DC.
