Lauren Matsumoto is a Brooklyn-based artist who explores how we relate to the natural world through her hybrid form of painting, drawing, and collage. She has participated in national and international exhibitions, including a solo show at Fabrik Gallery in Hong Kong, and group shows at BRIC Arts Media House in Brooklyn, Bakehouse Art Complex in Miami, the ArtComplex Gallery in Tokyo and Artists Space in New York. Her work has appeared in publications such as Domino Magazine, HOME Journal, Studio Visit, Graphis, and on the cover of Fresh Paint Magazine. Matsumoto received her MFA from the School of Visual Arts and BA from Yale.
