“Horizons and horizon lines show up in a lot of my work. For me the horizon is a representation of hope, uncertainty, and infinity, as well as being a distant space for imagination. For this series I wanted to use the horizon and the light surrounding it to evoke these thoughts and create a spectrum of human emotions.” — Jordan Sullivan
Jordan Sullivan (b. 1983) is a photographer and mixed media artist. His photographs of the natural world offer strange yet familiar visions of deserts, gardens and oceans that are manipulated through digital and analog interventions. While Sullivan’s photographs are emotionally charged with personal significance, his pictures offer viewers an open space for their own introspection.
