“This color palette is directly taken from my parents' living room, growing up. The very '80s mauve, peach, and gray combo was in full effect.” — Jaime Derringer

About the Artist

Jaime derringer

Jaime Derringer (b. 1978) is an abstract artist living in San Diego, California. Having spent most of her life on the East Coast, she brings a variety of perspectives to her artwork from the fast-paced life of New York to the laid back desert living of Southern California. Self-taught, she approaches each new drawing or paintings as a lesson, as a true experiment. She is also the Founder and Executive Editor of Design Milk, a popular modern art and design website, whose inspirational posts have opened her up in a more creative way and fostered her interest in pursuing art.
