Aliza Morell (b. 1982) lives and works in Brooklyn, New York. She holds an MFA from Rutgers University and a BFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Her paintings have recently been shown at Thierry Goldberg, Castor Gallery, and Nancy Margolis Gallery (New York, NY); Small Editions, Elijah Wheat Showroom, and Trestle Projects (Brooklyn, NY); and The Knockdown Center (Queens, NY). In 2017 her work was featured in New American Paintings, Northeast, for the second time. She has attended numerous residencies including Vermont Studio Center; Ox-bow, ACRE, and Harold Arts.
